Israeli Military Strikes Hamas Commander in Northern Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces has confirmed carrying out an airstrike in the northern Gaza Strip that resulted in the death of Fadi Falah Ashour Dughmush, a senior figure identified as a commander in the training department of Hamas's military wing.

According to military officials, the strike took place in recent hours. Prior to the October 7, 2023 attacks, Dughmush held responsibility for overseeing numerous training operations, with particular emphasis on preparing elite Hamas units.
