Israeli Broadcasting Authority: Pullback Pilot Program from Southern Lebanon Has Not Yet Commenced

Israel's state broadcaster has stated that the pilot phase for Israeli military withdrawal from southern Lebanon remains in a pending status, according to reports from July 18, 2026.

Under arrangements agreed upon between Israel and Lebanon, the Israeli military is expected to withdraw specifically from the eastern and western areas of Zoutar. The broadcaster clarified that this limited pullback represents the scope of the current pilot initiative.
